	ACTIVITY INFORMATION << return to Event Calendar West Valley Citrus Clinic Jan 28, 2012 Time: 9 am to Noon Maricopa County Master Gardeners will present two citrus clinics featuring the foremost experts in the state, including university faculty and noted local professionals, that will teach how to grow the juiciest and most flavorful citrus fruits. January 21, 2012 – Greenfield Citrus Nursery (2558 E Lehi Rd, Mesa) January 28, 2012 – Truman Ranch (south of Greenway Rd on Perryville, Surprise) These clinics, now in their sixteenth year, provide the opportunity for homeowners to learn and to ask questions about the care of citrus, apples, peaches, dates and other fruit crops. At both locations, gates open at 8:30am with the clinics running from 9:00am-12:00 noon. Eight half-hour presentations will be given concurrently and repeated five times during the morning. In addition, at the Truman Ranch on January 28, “you-pick” bags will be available for sale in 15 and 40-pound sizes to harvest citrus from any tree on the farm.
